ROLE: Lead Designer
This ad campaign ran in the November/December issue of Luxe Interior + Design magazine. It appeared in several different regional prints that corresponded with locations of showrooms. The goal was to show a variety of unique textures, patterns and materials that were chosen beforehand, and arrange them in a where colors or textures complimented or contrasted from one another. I photographed each sample, and retouched the photos before arranging them on a loose grid structure. This campaign also appeared in 7.5” x 9” booklets for Design Center of the Americas
REBEL RUG FINISH BOARD
Rug finish board for Rebel Carpets & Rugs’ presentation at The International Surface Event in Las Vegas in 2019. In addition to designing the board itself, I photographed each rug finish sample, as well as worked with a local printshop in choosing the best material, thickness and finish for the board. Physical fabric samples were later glued on. In addition to this board, I designed business cards, catalogues and several price sheets in preparation for the event.
J.D. STARON COMMERCIAL BOOK
This is a booklet intended for interior designers and sales agents in the hospitality industry. For a more conservative business environment I was more restrictive in my design choices.I utilized white space to comfortably frame content to be presented to a more serious clientele. In laying out images of sample designs – while in a simple 2x3 grid, I made sure give each image enough padding so that the individual carpet designs to do not clash with one another. I communicated with a partner axminster carpet company in China to compile technical information and renderings of carpet designs, as well as another company for printed carpet specifications. All images of interiors are creative commons or adobe stock images that I found and edited to place JDS carpet into.
